It had to happen someday. The beautiful streak of 10+% MoM MRR growth met its end in January, as it was "only" 9%. So the final streak length was ten months. Last year, January and, especially, February were the worst months growth-wise, so getting even near the 10% limit was a good achievement.
My current solo venture is EmailEngine, an email-syncing app. I have no investors and no one to report to, but I find it a good exercise to generate a recurring overview of the business, so I'm publishing these reports here.
- Reached 70 paying customers
- Added support for any number of OAuth2 applications. So far, it was limited to 1 per provider. Now you can add a new internal Gmail OAuth2 app for each customer domain if needed.
- I moved my headquarters from the home office to the Lift99 co-working space, and as a perk for the co-working space members, I got free Stripe processing fees for up to $20k of payments. This is going to cover a substantial part of my Lift99 bill for the coming months 🕺

Starting this month, I use the euro currency (previously, I used the dollar currency).
Food for thought
- More and more people are interested in the OAuth2 proxying feature that allows connecting legacy IMAP applications and scripts to the Outlook IMAP servers, which requires OAuth2 authentication. I was thinking of separating it into a separate paid product, but the TAM does not seem big enough to be worth the marketing effort.
